I blog about my ancestors but how do I keep track of what I've posted without searching my blog?

Here's what I do : I did a post on January 19, 2014 about my Third Great Grandfather Edward C. Lewis. I then selected my post and did a print to PDF and saved it in my Genealogy notebook under the Lewis surname. Then I went to Edward in Legacy and attached the PDF to the Blog Event/Fact that I created.

This is Edward's information.

Edwards Individual Information screen. Under the Event/Fact you see an
Event/Fact Blog Post {where the green arrow is}.

This is what the Event/Fact looks like. It includes the name of the
Blog and the date it was posted.
You can add an image by clicking on the image icon
{the icon with the green box around it}.

Select add media and then document. Select the document you want
linked to your Event/Fact.

Now when I want to see what I have already posted about Edward on my blog I just have to go to his Blog Post Event/Fact and to the linked document and I don't have to search my entire blog looking to see what I have. And this is a great backup of your blog posts.

I wonder what the letter C will bring us tomorrow??

The Great Genealogy Shape Up of 2018!

For most of 2017, I spent my genealogy time cleaning up my database in Legacy Family Tree. I'm still working on cleaning up messes from when I first started my family tree. For 2018, I plan to continue cleaning up my database. I would also like to finish adding all Find A Grave information to my database as well. Find A Grave is a great place to find leads to research. Legacy makes it very easy to find everyone in your database who do not have Find A Grave memorials. Click the drop-down arrow on the Find A Grave icon and it gives you the following options: I selected create a list of people without a Find A Grave Memorial and I got a nice LONG list of people. From this list, I have been able to find more ancestors to research and add to my database. Florence M. Lewis Myers Hunter

I've had a really hard time deciding who to write about for this week. I do not have a lot of information about Florence but since I wrote about her husband George Washington Hunter last week I thought why not continue the story…or lack thereof. Florence was born 5 Sep 1863 in Muhlenburg, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, USA to Edward C. and Ellen (Elenore) Bonham Lewis. Florence was the oldest of three children; Boaz Lewis was born about 1870 and Clemmence Lewis was born about 1872 [I have not done any research on her siblings yet]. I have not found the family on the 1870 census yet but I am expecting to find them in Luzerne County. In 1880 the family was living in Union Township, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, USA. In 1883 she married her first husband, Orel Kizer Myers. The 1900 census has them living in Hunlock Township, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, USA. They had the following children: 1. ...
