Emma Siegfried . . . Who is she?

I have some alerts set up on Ebay to let me know when anything is posted with some of my surnames and even some places.  One of the alerts I get is anything Siegfried related.  About a month ago I was alerted to a picture of a woman and on the back of the picture is written Emma Siegfried {I'm pretty sure it says Mrs Emma Siegfried} and of course I bought the photo.  The other thing I noticed on the back of the photo was the photographer's name and that it says Reading PA.  {I know some of the Siegfried's come from that area}.

 I looked in my Legacy database to see if I have an Emma Siegfried . . . and I do!  One is my great aunt born in 1926 {the photo is not of her} and the other is Emma Lydia Shellhammer Siegfried born in 1862 {I don't think it is of her but it could be}.

In the picture below are my 2nd Great Grandparents William Andrew Siegfried {who is also my half 2nd great uncle} and Emma Lydia Shellhammer.  From information that I have found Emma was born in Philadelphia PA and died in Sugarloaf, Luzerne county, PA; where she is buried as well.  

I do not know there year or where this picture was taken.  It was given to me by a cousin.
I don't believe the mysterious Emma is my 2nd great grandmother but I am determined to find out who she is!

5 Tips to Break Down Your Brick Wall

Evernote Tags and Notebooks | How I use them

I did a post in 2015 called Tagging and Notebooks in Evernote and since then some things have changed with my tagging and notebook system in Evernote. The image below shows what my tags and notebooks looked like in 2015. The next two image show my tags and notebooks today. As you can see I have a lot more notebooks and tags currently.  The number of tags changes quite often because a lot of my tags are temporary, and I also delete notes when I am done with them.  I routinely go thorough Evernote and delete notes that are no longer relevant.  Once I do that I eventually have tags with no notes so I will go through my tags frequently and delete all tags that do not have any notes associated with it. Each notebook stack, except for 5 - HOUSE, 7 - TEMPLATES, and z FILING CABINET z do not have an @ tag associated with it.  The tag for 5 - HOUSE is currently nested under the @SHANNON tag because it keeps my tag list shorter and because ...
